installed an eclipse radio in my 2000 tdi beetle and my illumination on radio blinks/strobes i can speed it up or slow it down with the dimmer anyone know a way i can bypass the pulse off this wire and still keep my illumination?

Sounds to me like there is something wonky in the wiring.

checked harness install several times everything else works fine minus my reception do to my memphis amp i have recrimped illumination wire twice now just incase it was this still same result if i am redoing it im throwing a voltmeter on the wire so everyone else hasnt had problems with thisd?
