Removal of door card on closed/ locked door
Hello...I have 2009 Beetle that has what appears to be a pretty common fault with the door being locked and not opening/ unlocking. I would like to remove the door card and am wondering if anyone can tell me if this can be done with the door still closed. I don't have the correct tool to remove three screws at the bottom but will pick one up this week. I could possibly take the seat out to give me more access.
im in the UK and don't know if that has an impact on if this is possible or if all models are pretty much the same. Any help gratefully received. Thanks.
