Hi, all:

I am in the process of changing the front oil seal behind the timing belt sprocket and am having really hard time unscrewing the sprocket bolt (see picture).

If I try to unscrew the bolt then sprocket moves. I can not seem to lock the sprocket effectively.

Has anyone changed the front oil seal? If so, then how did you remove that bolt?

Thank you,

you need this Metalnerd Tool. MNYANK-4cyl to remove that center bolt.

getting the oil seal out of the housing is done with a gentle use of a pick tool.. and reinstall is done with a large socket and small taps with a mallet around the outer edge.
