Howdy everyone
I am a new owner of an 06 red NB. It is a gift for my wife for her birthday/mother's day/midlife crisis and she is delighted.
She saw one of the 2013 Beetles with the retro wheels and said "Those are cool." After some research here, I understand that the most practical way to get there is to DIY with steel wheels, beauty rings and hub caps and clips. So I showed here this (http://newbeetle.org/forums/styling-modifications/493-show-your-wheels.html#post3892) and she said YES.
I would ask the cognoscenti here to vet my shopping list (and if you have any recommended sources) and make sure what I am considering makes sense before I hit buy.
