Used engine installed, but I think there are still some small issues left to tend to. Engine did have a bad Turbo oil line leak, timing and cam position sensor issue which I had resolved now I am pretty sure. Sometimes when engine is first started and Cold it idles Roughly and if you drive off before Warmed up the power brakes seem to not be present and engine continues to run Roughly until Warm then the Rough idle Smooths out like a sensor kicks in or something and when running Smooth again the Power Brakes come back. Is this likely a Vacuum leak and if so how do you find if and where it is? Any other ideas also appreciated.

DTC trouble codes? CEL?

Vacuum leaks are very common, check all vacuum hoses and/or smoke test.

my wifes car did that until I replaced the maf and cleared the code for the cam sensor then it stay smooth. It seems that if the ecu has a code for misfire i think it runs bad even if the problem has been corrected. just go to autozone and have the codes cleared see if that helps.
