so for some reason my seat belt light won't go off even when I have ALL of my seat belts connected.. its pissing me off beyond belief. they won't go off, is it a mechanical problem or maybe a fuse?
help please!

It could be the seat latch sensor is stuck. I took a look at mine and the pair of wires from the latch leading up under the seat have been cut. I don't have any problem with the seat belt chime either.

Will likely be one of the front seat belts only.

The wiring under the seats is a problem these, triggering airbag lights as well. So be careful if you start to take things apart you could trigger an airbag light.

The latches hang in these cars often as well.

You may not be able to properly pinpoint the issue with some sort of software?

So if you do not want to buy software, I would likely start with replacing the drivers belt latch first as this gets the biggest work out. Belt latches are about $75.
