Hey everyone. I'm having a big problem with my seat belt. First it would work then it just stopped. It won't stretch out so people can be use it. I went to the junk yard and just a whole new belt thinking that would solve my problem but its doing the same thing

Has the car been in an accident? The seat belts have a pyrotechnic pretensioning system that goes off kind of like an airbag. Once is has been used the seat belt can't be pulled out of the retractor again and must be replaced.
