I am a newbie here on the forum.
I have a 2008 vw new beetle covertible. I just went to remove the skid plate to change the oil. There are 6 torque bolts with a head I do not recognize nor have the tool for. Any idea what type of socket is needed? Size? I read somewhere that it is a #8 triple square socket? If so, is that a 3/8 socket drive and does that #8 stand for 8 mm? It's a Canadian car eh!
I've got 7 t25 bolts, 2 5/8 bolts and 6 of the mystery ones.
Also, three clips on the front.
Anything you can offer is appreciated.
Jeff
