As the subject says, my NB, when I turn the steering wheel slightly to the left, I hear a slight squeal. Turn the wheel a bit more to the left and it stops. Turn the wheel to the right and it stops. What could the source be? The front end out of alignment? Torque on the wheels causing a problem with the brakes?

Thanks!

That's really a tough 1 there, many times noises like that are the hardest ones to diagnose. Sometimes the tops of struts make a creaking type sound when you turn the wheels to the right or left. A squeaking noise could come from the power steering pump or from the drive belt itself. It's really hard to tell without being there in hearing it, maybe someone else has the same problem can help. Anyways, welcome to the org!
