Speaker off when door is closed

Hi.
My Beetle is a 2006 Cabriolet.
I installed an Android head unit last year and used it without any problems until recently.

However, there has been a problem with no sound recently.
The funny thing is that when I open the driver's door, the sound comes out, but when I close the door, the sound doesn't come from all the speakers.

As a result of my checking. The wire of the connection between the door and the body is also not disconnected. The fuse is fine. I removed the door trim and checked the wires, but there is no problem.

What should I do to solve this problem?

Are you using new or the original speakers? After 17 years you might test the speakers individually and see if the surrounds are bad or the speakers are blown? If you have the original head unit, you could swap it back in and see if the problem persists. Then, you could narrow down the problem, being the wiring or the head unit itself? Some of the stock stereos like the monsoon system; have separate amps and specific spec speakers which may or may not play well together, depending in how everything is connected on the new head unit.

Thank you for your advice.
To further explain, I bought my Beetle secondhand.
The speakers have been replaced by Sony's by the previous owner.
And I installed Android Radio in January 2022 and used it without any problems until recently.
Also, all speakers work when the door is open, and they don't work when the door is closed.

First, I think it is necessary to install the original head unit and check it as you suggested. I will leave a reply after checking.
Is there a wiring that gives a signal related to the opening of the door of the driver's door? If so, is there any additional location to check as this wiring can affect the speaker wiring?

Note: My English used a translator. Please understand if there is anything you don't understand..

I would guess a bad wire in the rubber boot between the door and body. A wire that only makes an open-circuit when the door is closed, but makes some kind of connection when the door is open.

I also suspected that part first. So I already opened the rubber boots, but there was no cut wire.
When I opened the door and heard a sound, I tried to move the wires of the rubber boots from various angles, but the sound did not stop.
It's a very embarrassing situation where the sound stops only when the door is closed.
...but there was no cut wire.
The whole wire might not be cut, but the copper could be damaged inside the insulation.

I didn't expect such a problem. I'll have to check every section. Thank you for your advice.

My Beetle is a 2006 Beetle oo pop convertible.

Recently, there was an audio-related problem.

Audio works when the driver's seat opens, and audio stops working when the door closes. It's not just a problem with one speaker, but a problem occurs with all speakers at the same time.

I removed the door panel to check the wires, and I also checked the wires in the rubber boots. There was no problem.

I'm using an Android head unit, and this is working without problems.

I think the most suspicious part right now is the amplifier.
Is there an electrical connection between the amplifier and the door? Or is there anything that can affect it?

Which places should I look to fix this?

Where are you at with diagnosing the problem and are you doing a process of elimination?

The wiring would be something to check, you may have something hooked up incorrectly, the new head unit could be defective, things are ground out, when you shut the door, etc? Did you use a harness adapter at the head unit or hack the wires to connect them; you may want to revisit all the wiring to the new stereo components you installed and confirm they are correct?

You might go to a junkyard and get some parts to swap into place; of things and see if the problem changes?

If stereo installation and diagnosing this sort of thing is not your strength; you might take the car to a auto stereo shop and have the install tech figure it out for you?

Right now, we have no clue how you hooked things up, your wiring is setup, what stock parts you used, kept out or in, which previous original vw components are connected still or you bypassed, didn’t use, etc.

A stereo installl tech, that does upgrades with aftermarket components all day long; should be able to diagnose and fix things pretty quickly and have tons of other known good parts lying around to (swap in) to test with.

I've been using the new unit for over a year. I didn't need wiring work because the new unit was provided with a jack-by-jack connection.
The same symptom is also present when the genuine audio is connected.
The current problem is that it has occurred suddenly recently.
I might get help from a professional, but I'd like to try to solve it myself if it's a simple problem because the money is spent. Nevertheless, if it is impossible to solve, I will get their help.
Ok, well you are making some progress; on your process of elimination to narrow down the problem. The issue is repeatable with BOTH the new and original head unit, so we can assume, it is not the stereos themselves. The main variable, is the door manipulation, by being shut; we have a long history of wiring problems with the wiring harness gong, from the body to the door. That would be the next thing to check, a visual inspection of the harness, going from the body to the door and a continuity check, can be done with a multimeter. The flex area of the harness, will get bent; every time the door opens and closes, eventually the wires will break or strands of wires will be reduced to just some strands of copper and often, this will cause a intermittent issue (the connection of the circuit; will move with the door being opened/ closed and then connect, when changed movement with the door open/closed, {which can kill the circuit or possibly cause a grounding out issue). You have narrowed the issue down to the door; focus, on testing the wiring and new replacement speaker.

NOTE: keep in mind, we are not looking at the car with you and we don't know how you hooked things up or the history of the car, the stereo system, how things have worked or how you upgraded things, along with the previous stock system.

Thank you for your reply.
No problem was found in the door harness. That's why it's hard to solve.
I have a question.
Is it possible that the disconnection of the driver's door harness will affect the entire speaker?
