I am looking to replace my starter before R2R. It calls out two different bugs. How do I know which one I have?

Or

What is the difference?

I would go with a new or rebuilt OEM Bosch starter; you can look up the correct parts/part number for you car here:

To get the correct part; you generally, need to know your engine code, auto/stick or use your vin #:

https://www.boschautoparts.com/auto

You can find your engine code; by looking here:

http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/pdf/tb-7192011vw.pdf

You can look up your car there or download the app, search with the app for ios/android and input your VIN #:

https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=bosch auto parts app

Pleas update; your profile info (shows up; under "join date"), so we can help you more intelligently in the future: year, model, engine, trans (e.g. standard or automatic)
