broke down and took my ladybug to the dealership to check it out, the tiptronic wasn't working and all gears were in brackets on the dash display along with this drain on the battery. I bought it from a carlot with one key and they have yet to produce a title in the 2 months i have had it, but i paid for the ASC Warranty they offered and am using it to fullest extent. I pick her up tomorrow with the $2000 repair bill. they removed the light and unit it was attached to, but not before it killed one of the cells in the battery. will post more after the pick up tomorrow...

Keep in mind this green light may not have been part of your problem!

It would not kill a cell in the battery.

If you have a Monsoon stereo system the amps are also known to drain the battery at times.

What was done to repair the transmission, the valve body should have been overhauled. Should been less than $1500.
