i tried searching for a problem like this, but couldn't find one, sorry in advance if it was already mentioned!

when i open my sunroof all the way and my windows are up, it makes a very loud and obnoxious almost "thumping" noise. it sounds like i have woofers going. however, when i open one of the windows, even a crack, it stops. any idea what the problem is? and would a sunroof wind deflector fix it? thanks guys :)

Yeah that's a common thing. Crack your windows slightly to eliminate that.

Imagine blowing into a bottle. Same effect. The wind has nowhere to go so it reverberates all inside.

Dealer told me on the test drive actually.

Another thing to try is to just turn the dial to the larger sized dot (second from last) instead of all the way to the picture of the open roof.

This keeps the sun roof sticking out only a few inches, but also eliminates the "helicopter" sound.

This way, you can drive around with the windows fully up, and the roof open.

Enjoy.............TechnoTrix'd...:wave3:
