I felt like starting a new page of my Beetle and its progress.
I have had it for about 3 months now and have made several modifications and have several more planned.

The day I brought it home


Some Tubonium graphics added


Fiaam air horns for that exotic European sound


Engine mods consist of an APR R1 turbo valve & Unitronic Stage 1+ software


Suspension time called for Eibach stainless coil overs


After suspension install, before final adjustments

I didnt need any spacers, wheels fit like a glove. Too bad I have to put the stock wheels back on with my winter tires.

Hope to get a custom exhaust very soon.

Actually it's okay,and no need to measure plz.

The wheels I want to use the Eibach coil-overs with are 18x7.5 with 35mm offset.

If you are 18x8...my set up will easily work without wheel spacers.

You shouldn't have any issues with the 7 1/2" wheel.
I am pretty sure these were et35's. It is stamped in the back side of the wheel.

I'm up near Chicago. Rockport looks like its way south west of me. Unless you are talking about Rockton or Rckford. Those are a little colser to me.

I was wondering...
I picked up a set of '04 OEM R32 wheels and tires. Powdercoated gloss black & clear on top of that. The guy actually lives in Milwaukee & drove 2 hours to meet me

I posted on your page that I was looking at those wheels. I was thinking Rockford didn't sound right but now when you say that he was from Milwaukee that was definitely them. Good purchase!

First part of my brake upgrade, EBC Red Stuff brake pads. Upgrading to GLI brakes and I am painting the calipers blue so red pads ain't gonna fly. A little Rust-oleum black BBQ paint will do the job.
