Thinking about getting some 18" wheels in the Spring
My question to all who have 18" wheels, what size tires are you running?
I'm currently on 225/45-17s now and am lowered on coilovers. I want to maintain the ability to stay low but am not sure as what size tire would best accommodate this. I know backspacing/offset plays a big part and the wheels I'm looking at are 18x8 with 30mm backspacing.
The 17s I currently have are 17x8 with 35mm backspacing.
Can I run a 215/45-18 and not have too much stretch and minimal to no rubbing? It would seem to solve the backspacing I can get a set of 5mm spacers but am not sure about a safe tire width.
