Hi new member great info on your web site, I just purchased a 98 with the 2.0, 5 spd, 155000 miles, have no idea that the timing belt, tensioner, waterpump, was ever changed. Was going to change it myself. I'm a pretty good mechanic, where is the best place to purchase parts (web sites). I puchased a haynes manual, but if you have some more tech advice please pass it along. Thanks ron

Ditto on ECS being the best place to get the kit - for the 2.0L it is about $155 - this will give you the water pump, thermostat, accessory belt, timing belt and tensioner. Other items I recommend you get and replace are:

Camshaft seal
Crankshaft seal
G12 coolant (at least one gallon - be sure to mix with distilled water only)
motor mount stretch bolts (they'll have to be removed to do the work and are not supposed to be reused).

Enjoy! :)
