2001 with the 4 speed automatic. I changed the coolant sensor, spilled some coolant but refilled with proper stuff. Drove it about 30 miles and got home parked. Shoveling driveway, kid moves car in reverse and heard loud vibration as he did so. Hesitated a bit also. I got in and reverse was slow to engage. Then drive was slow to engage with some hesitation. Took it for a drive and when shifting from first to park to reveres there is a slight clanking noise then it engages. When driving in reverse or first there is a vibration howling noise that goes away when it shifts out of first. Sooooo, with no previous shifting problems do y'all think it is valve body or worse? Once it drives no shifting issues besides the noise in first. Not sure how long the coolant sensor was bad but it was performing great after the change, better acceleration, and lowered rpm at speed. What do y'all think? Don't want to blow $500on the valve body if I don't have to.
