Trunk Button on Key Fob

I have a 2005 turbo new beetle convertible and I have noticed that on my 2 key fobs neither of the trunk open button work, however all of other lock/unlock buttons work perfectly. Does this sound like both of the remotes need to be reprogrammed? If so does anyone know about how much that costs?

Hold down for a few seconds, then you will hear the trunk pop up. :)

WOW. I'm going to go try this! Thank you, I didn't think I would need to hold the button down for multiple seconds, I was simply just pressing it!
