Hey, everyone!
I'm having an issue with my '00 GLS trunk emblem. It is one of the ones where the entire emblem swivels away to reveal the lock. The chrome bubbling and peeling off to reveal white plastic underneath. I believe it also considered to be a 3D emblem.
I've checked around the forum and it looks like this will be expensive, a P.I.T.A, or both, to replace. I was wondering if anyone has found another way to deal with replacing it or restoring it. (Actually, I am hoping that mine is somehow different because no one seems to be talking about the chrome peeling off, just fading colors.)
So, if anyone has had something similar happen, or has discovered an alternative to pricey replacement, please clue me in. Thanks!
