Normal, as long as the trunk does not "pop" and relock, then this is normal. You can barely tell the trunk has been released when it is open on these cars or most German cars.
Trunk Lid- Does yours pop up?
I have just adopted a 2010 convertible and noticed the trunk lid only pops up far enough to get the very tip of my finger under it along the curve. This doesn't seem right to me....To measure, I tried to roll a #2 pencil into the gap along the flat bottom edge....the gap is too small to roll the pencil under the popped up door. Is this typical or is there something that needs repair?
