i need an accurate trunk volume figure on a coupe model new beetle with the back seats folded up ive found 12 cubes but i believe thats with the seats down. im planning to do 2 sundown audio sa-12s in a fourth order and id like to be able to have my back seats back...

VW's official listed figure is just over 7 cubic feet. I would believe it too, as i have 2 12" kicker CVRs in my trunk in a box that has a little over 2 cubic feet per sub and it is an exact fit to my trunk. I only have a couple inches in front of the box available.
