Has anyone ever have a turbo after cooler pump stay on 24-7 and it drains the battery in a couple days. The nearest VW dealership could not figure it out to fix it?? I have replaced the pump itself and the two wire sensor in the small hose and it still is on 24-7???

Some people, have had this problem; typically, it is the reverse problem, the auxiliary waterpump, wears out and dies. Here is a thread with wiring info and some have said, the fan control module, may control the pump?

My pump, was getting loud and would struggle, to stay on (stop, start, made whining noise, etc.).

I bought a new pump, oem Bosch made in Germany, off of amazon for $68 with free shipping (prices, are slightly higher now).
