2005 new beetle convert. Can anyone recommed a tow bar for the front of this vehicle. I found one but they need to know whether I need standard or "2 inches narrower". I don't know. Can someone help me?

Automatic or manual?


A manual can be towed with the front wheels off the ground, since our NBs are front-wheel-drive. I am not sure about how to tow an automatic.


We towed my Turbo S in 2006. (pre-divorce.... )

Towing

Mine is a 5 speed and i had been told I could tow all 4 on the ground with no problem. Hope I haven't been mislead. Anyone know for sure.

Put the front wheels up, and no miles will be added..... :wink2:


We towed my Bug all over Oregon like that. Damage free, and no added miles.
