Looking to buy a 2002 Double Yellow Volkswagen Color Concept Limited Edition New Beetle Coupe. *Must have an automatic transmission.*

‘Color Concepts’ is a Dealer Option package offering special two-tone seats, trim and color coded wheel inserts to match body color.

A close relative of the Turbo S was the 2002–2004 Color Concept, this limited edition variant was available in limited exterior colors, with interior door panel inserts, seat inserts, floor mat piping and wheel opening inserts color-matched to the exterior paint. Wheel color inserts, diameter, and style varied with model year.

It came standard with the 150*hp (110*kW) 1.8 turbo gasoline engine, 5 speed manual gear box, speed-activated rear spoiler, power windows/sunroof/door locks, heated leather seats, and fog lamps.

All 1.8L Turbo and Turbo S inline-four models were equipped with a retractable rear spoiler, which was not available on the 1.9*L TDI inline-4, 2.0*L inline-four and 2.5*L inline-five models.

These pop up in Florida a lot. Saw a yellow one recently. Right now, red and blue ones are for sale. If I find a yellow again I will post here.

CC NBs

Another reason for the rarity of the CC New Beetles is that there were only 2,000 of each of the 5 colors made. 1,500 automatics and 500 manuals were produced for the world wide market. Now that they are turning 15 and 16 years old they are getting harder and harder to find. Especially the manuals.

Beetle you seek= 2002 turbo Color Concept

I just picked one up, in need of a little TLC..message me back, and we can discuss.
Most of the issues are cosmetic, long crack on windshield, headlamp, and a good old fashion detail and this will be a head turner. 145k miles.

I have one, it is a manual transmission though. It has 124K miles and cosmetically on the outside needs some work but it has new tires, timing belt was just redone, new radiator, new battery, new alternator, completely new front end. You could have it for $1,000.

I'm from Columbus Indiana. I actually know of a yellow CC NB 2002 it's in rough shape but all the pieces are there. It is a manual transmission though. And I know you were looking for the automatic. But there's about 8 NB 03 to 05 a couple turbos. But I am the only one in town that has a 2002 1.8L TS Black 6sp #347 of 5000

You might want to create your own classified ad and post some good photos, to show it off. Also, post on the new beetle related facebook sites; as there are quire a few "eyeballs", on there as well. GLWTS!

I just got one with a manual transmission with the turbo I line. Did some more research and turns out there were only 500 made with the manual. Was wondering how to increase value since there were so little and maybe not many left. Also since last year they stopped making them. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I know this might be a Little Late but I'm setting here in the Pacific Northwest Seattle area I own a Double Yellow 5 speed 127,000 miles on it a great car & still fun to drive.
