$469.00 ECS Kit: https://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-New_Beetle--2.5L/By_Brand/A/ES1876418/

Pic of the little known Fog light retrofit kit for front fogs # 5C1 052 186 / 5C6 052 186

Pic stolen from DAP. The instructions in the kit show it's for 09/10> Jetta & 09/11> Beetle but being used on a bunch of other cars. I got it knowing I can resell it if it's not compatible. The factory kit has a # 645 relay included. Not sure what ECS uses in theirs. It's eerily similar to the kit ECS sells so I pulled the trigger on it. I've got $325 into this for parts as a complete kit.

Are these items you have for sale? If yes, then I will take the following:

Left side fog light surround $12: $12 VW Left Lower Cooling Air Grill Beetle. 1C0807683J

Right side fog light surround $12: $12 VW Right Lower Cooling Air Grill Beetle. 1C0807684B

Left side fog light $48.67: Part Number Search 1C0-941-699-E

Right side fog light $48.67: Volkswagen VALEO Fog Light 1C0941700E (1C0-941-700-E)

Now you're sure this will fit the 2010 vert, right?

Thanks!

The fog light option isn't that common on the 06-10 NB, therefore not too many will be available from breakers or scrap. If posting links and providing a list of what's needed to fulfill your WTB post offends, then title your post "Wanted to Buy: Basic Fog Lights & Grill Covers for 2010 NB (Used, NOT New)"

When giving spoon fed replies to a WTB post end up provoking a hot button response, it makes one wonder what an acceptable response would of been on this community forum

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you are telling.

I don't care if the equipment is new or used, just that it works! I just not have been able to find much online.
I appreciate you giving me a list of what I need to put it all together, but you should have specified as such, thus not leading me to believe that you have it available.

Anyway, it's too rich for my blood at the moment, so I am going to be using a faux fog light mod (see stock pic below). I know, I know, so much chrome, but I like it. Maybe in the future, I will buy and install actual fog lights.

Thank you, though. :)

No worry Matey! Sounds like it's ascetics. I'm the same. For about $110 you can purchase the L/R foglight assembly and the L/R fog light surround. Purchase the switch and harness later or make the harness.

Those parts on that list are at the bottom of the market before they go NLA from VW and the warehouses that have a healthy stock. You'll spend $60-$70 getting the faux covers from overseas. They'll quickly peel and look ratty because of their location.

For those who do this install make sure you get a set of lamin-x on your new fog lenses. Big Dac With Fries on the Vortex has a template for just about every VW light

Alright kiddos, the moment arrived. Had the money in the kitty and the link saved on Amazon for NB fog lights for the 06-10 Beetle. Crazy how time flies. I last looked into this in 2015. I'll post up a thread in the standard NB forum to alert those of you looking to add oem fog lamps.

P/S fog lamp $53
Amazon.com: Valeo 043690 Passenger Side OE Fog Light : Automotive

D/S fog lamp on Sale $39.53
Valeo 043689 Driver Side OE Fog Light (amazon.com)

Here's the center grill for the NB from Hans Auto parts if anyone is interested. $35.00 is a steal.

My friends at Cascade German have the little-known harness kit # 5C6 052 186 for $139.00 vs ECS for over $400

Fog Light Retrofit Harness, Beetle & Jetta (Genuine) – Cascade German Parts

It's all here to add factory fogs for just over $200. Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!
