I have a 98 beetle. I am wanting some diffrent rims and I need to know what the stock offset is. I am going to stay with stock sized tires. If anyone has a link to some nice looking white rims that would be great.

If you have the stock wheels on your car they are usually marked on the back side as to what the size width and offset are. Good luck with your search.:)

I had the same problem after I bought "Blue"....Your stock offset is ET42,with a6.5J rim width,on a 16 inch wheel. 5x100 bolt pattern.I got a set of 15 inch steel wheels from a 2000 to 2005 Golf or jetta. They have a ET 35 offset, with a 6.0 inch rim width on 15 inch rim.I just scored a set of 1993 Passat VR6 BBS Daytona wheels with a ET35 offset,6.0 width 15inch>they fit close to the brake caliper, but seem just fine.
Here is a list of what will fit our cars...Stock Factory wheels.....Hope this helps...Keep on Buggin:D:D If your stock tire size is 205-55-16, you can use 195-65-15
