I never thought leaving the stupid thing on in the cig lighter would drain the battery. It did overnight on my car.

Well i am hoping that was what drained my battery. Will find out in the morning.

The cig lighter gets power even when the car is off. That's what finally did my dying battery in...left my GPS plugged in overnight.
