Pondering Whale tail styles but having difficulty finding good pics. Anyone have photos of the Creative Car Craft version - other than the three small pics from their site (preferably on someone's car) Or the Bugs a Go-Go Carerra version? - or any others for that matter

I loved my whale tail for my Beetle when I had it back in 2002-2004. Unfortunately, the wing was broken after a slight fender bender. I liked having a larger wing that had the unique style and after the wing was damaged and non repairable I was told the wing was not being made anymore. I believe there is a website that still has them for sale at about the same price still. This wing was sturdy. It needed no tape or glue, just 14 bolt holes drilled in the hatch and it wasn't going anywhere!

Also, after the last wing was damaged, I got the money to upgrade and get this wing! (sorry, I don't have a better picture) It too was a nice addition! I no longer have this Beetle. Sure miss it though. Yes, you might get weird looks from folks and have some ask why such a big wing, even though it can affect performance. I was happy with my choices of wings and would answer back that I enjoyed being unique and that I am not on a professional racing circuit, so there was no need for wind tunnel testing! Honestly, both wings were helpful with high speed touring and helped keep the Beetle straight when without a wing, you could usually feel some sort of fishtail wobble with gusts of wind along the highway! Enjoy!

The first one is the Creative Car Craft wing and they still do manufacture it, I haven't seen a real good pic of it on a car , have any more pics? Bart
I will do my best to see if I can track some pictures down and post them up soon. Most all of my New Beetle pictures were developed and copies made before I could get them digital so most likely the pictures are in storage.
Here's another...
Still looking for other angles of the wing.
