That's a problem. You got 1000s of good threads and just dumped not only them .... but your users...links pictures.
What a waste.

Yes I agree it is a problem, however it was one without a solution, I spent the better part of a year trying to fix the old database so that we could import the information into this rendition of the newbeetle.org.

However that just was not possible, you can still view that information at http://forums.newbeetle.org and you can still search the information, you can use the information.

You can do whatever you want, if that means you are leaving the site to head over to the VWVortex, then it has been nice having you here and I hope you stop by again in 6 months when the information from the old forum has worked its way over here naturally.

With the same posters here, it will not take long for the photos, links and threads to be recreated.

It's still right where it always was alright. Sure it's slightly harder to access at the moment. But if people like yourself that use the information regularly will help by transferring that knowledge base over as you find answers to your questions; then it won't take but a few mos. to get back to where we were.

This site wasn't built by 1 man. It's a community making; that's what made the site what it was in the first place; and that's what it'll take to bring it back to the level it once was.

The community's still here, and the information's still there... We just need to get together and make things happen.
