Alright, so I'm installing a 15 inch, 1000w Pyle sub powered by a 1000w SoundStormLab amp. I have everything I need pulled and the power lines run, but I can't find the blue/white wire for the remote turn on! I know the car has one because I have the premium Monsoon sound system with the amp in the back. I have a 2002 New Beetle Sport 1.8L Turbo, if that helps anyone. No CD changer either. If someone would kindly post the location of this elusive wire that would be marvelous. Thanks!

Yes, you will have the 2 large plugs, the top one is power and the bottom one are the speaker outputs. You also might have a small plug for the cd changer.

Glad you found it! I should add that that wire did not work for a remote turn on. There is only a 6v signal in that wire. You need 12v to turn on aftermarket amps. You will have to find an alternate power source (preferably one switched on and off with the ignition) to get an aftermarket amp to work. If that is what you’re doing.
