Hey Beetlebomb! Long time no talk! I am unsure of the weight, but I believe it would weigh the same if not less than the stock system. reason being, stainless and regular steel weigh about the same however this muffler is much smaller than the regular one, it also has a lot less inside of it for baffles. It is a straight through design, and the new power is great, especially in the mid rpm's.Beetlebomb said:Looks good, there, yellow99! Is that system about the same weight ans the stock exhaust, do ya think?
Yes, you sound really happy with it, but how does IT sound?? (Pretty darn sporty, I'll bet....)yellow99 said:Hey Beetlebomb! Long time no talk! After the rain, I'm so glad I have a stainless exhaust now!
Oh yea it sounds incredible, its a nice low rumble at idle and once you put your foot down it wakes up! Its a very sporty/racy sound, and I love the sound of it when your slowing down, the back pressure is sweet, it definately sound more like a race car! Thats a good thing IMO. Once your at speed it quiets down a bit too, which I also like, that way you can comfortably talk to the other passengers in the vehicle, and on long drives you dont get a headache!Beetlebomb said:Yes, you sound really happy with it, but how does IT sound??
